Second Half of 2018 begins this weekend at Diamond Mountain
VERNAL, Utah (Tuesday, July 24, 2018) - Second half of the 2018 season at Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah starts this weekend as we will run races seven and eight of the season.
Hagen Gebhart leads the Rotating Right Mini Stock standings at mid way. So far this season there has been four different winners with two winners winning two features. Gene Hunting and Jarrod Felker own two wins each this season in the division.
Shane Tiffany leads the Outlaw Mini Stock standings at mid way. So far this season, three different drivers drove to victory lane. Larry Tiffany has won the most this season with 3 wins under his belt at mid season.
Ryan Hadlock has dominated the Uintah County Pure Stock division this season as he leads the points at mid way. He and brother Rayne Hadlock are the only two drivers to win this season in the division. Ryan owns 4 wins so far this year.
Grady Martin leads the BSB Manufacturing IMCA Stock Car standings at mid season. Grady is one of three different winners this year with four wins.
Chipita Rowley is the Jet Lift Systems IMCA Southern Sport Mod points leader heading into the second half of 2018. Chipita owns one win this season. Steve Gray and Josh Smith have the most wins this year with 2 each.
Justin Wright has been the one to beat this season in the JBH Contracting IMCA Northern Sport Mod division. Justin has won half of the races this year at Diamond Mountain. The other winners include Jerry Hislop, David Pitt, and Jason Wright, all with one win this year.
Shane Simper is the Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car points leader heading into the second half of 2018. Shane has three wins this season. 2 other drivers have driven to victory lane which includes Casey Hofer with two wins and Troy Gardner with one win.
Dustin Hansen leads the R&R Propane IMCA Modified division with one win this year. Chase Hansen and Justen Yeager has won the most this year with two wins each. Scott Gray is tied with Dustin with one win this year.
Races start at 8pm on Friday and 7pm on Saturday. Pit gates open at 4pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday.
20 car field will pay $1000.00 to WIN and $75.00 to START this weekend.
