Hansen tops Dwarf Car feature on Friday, Mother Nature sweeps them all on Saturday!

VERNAL, Utah (Monday, August 14, 2017)- Chase Hansen picked up his seventh win of the 2017 season in the Dwarf Car division at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah on Friday, August 11, 2017. Car owner, Shane Simper was the runner-up finisher, driving Jim Slaugh's M&M Chassis. Saturday's features was rained out and will continue Championship Weekend on Friday, September 22, 2017.

In the L&L Motor Company IMCA Modifieds, Ghery Smith of Roosevelt, Utah was declared the feature winner on Friday, Chase Hansen, driving the 18H JBH Contracting IMCA SportMod finished second after losing an engine.

Steve Gray picked up his third feature win of 2017 at DMS on Friday, August 11th. Simper was the runner-up finisher in the JBH Contracting IMCA Sport Mod feature.

Clayton Christensen was the feature winner in the Uintah County Tourism Pure Stock feature with points leader, Lynette Nagel of Myton, finishing in second.

The Rotating Right Mini Stock feature on Friday went to Larry Tiffany of Silt, Colorado. Shane Tiffany was the runner-up finisher.

On Saturday, Mother Nature was the winner after all classes finished their heat races. The features will be post-poned for the final weekend.

Next scheduled races are Friday and Saturday, September 22 & 23, 2017. Races will begin at 8pm MST on Friday and 7pm MST on Saturday. Gates open at 4pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday. Pit Meeting will start at 7pm on Friday and will begin at 6pm on Saturday.

The Saturday, August 12th features will be first on the schedule of events on Friday, September 22nd. Followed by the regular scheduled program.

Bulk Grandstand Tickets can be bought for $150 for 25 tickets.

Raceivers are mandatory in ALL classes.
