Felker, Tiffany dominate season opener Mini Stock features

VERNAL, Utah (May 18 & 19, 2018) - Jarrod Felker won Friday and Saturday night in the Rotating Right Mini Stock division and Travis Tiffany also swept the weekend in the Outlaw Mini Stock division during the 2018 season opener at the Diamond Mountain Speedway presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Tyrell Hunting and Bailey Cloward was the runner up finishers in the Rotating Right Mini Stock features and Larry Tiffany was the runner up both nights in the Outlaw Mini Stocks.

Justen Yeager of Green River, Wyoming also swept the weekend in the R&R Propane IMCA Modifieds. On Friday, Dustin Hansen was the runner up and Bert Beech was the runner up on Saturday.

Grady Martin of Vernal, Utah was also a two time winner over the season opening weekend as he won both nights in the BSB Manufacturing IMCA Stock Cars. Steve Livingston was the runner up on Saturday.

In the JBH Contracting IMCA Northern Sport Mods, Justin Wright picked up the win on Friday and Jerry Hislop was the winner on Saturday. Runner up on Friday was Jason Wright and Shane Simper finished second on Saturday.

Jason Reese and Steve Gray were feature winners in the Jet Lift Systems IMCA Southern Sport Mod division. Chipita Rowley was the runner up on Friday and finishing second on Saturday was Jason Reese.

In the Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Cars, Troy Gardner drove to victory lane on Friday and Shane Simper was the winner on Saturday. Brent Cook finished second both nights.

Ryan and Rayne Hadlock were the feature winners in the Uintah County Tourism Pure Stocks during the season opener. Rayne won on Friday and Ryan won on Saturday. Ryan was the runner up on Friday and Rayne finished second on Saturday.

The next race will be Friday and Saturday, June 1st and 2nd with the Sweet Diamond IMCA Challenge Series invading the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah.
