Go-Karts have been added to the 2019 Schedule!

VERNAL, Utah (April 18, 2019) - The NAPA Main Street Auto Parts Diamond Mountain Speedway has added Go-Karts to the 2019 Schedule.

Kids aged 4 through 13 can participate. The Go-Karts will run on Saturday's throughout the 2019 season. Start time will be announced soon.

Test & Tune re-scheduled for Saturday, April 27th.

VERNAL, Utah (April 13, 2019) - Test and Tune date for all classes has been re-set for Saturday, April 27th. It will start at 10:00 A.M. and it will end at 5:00 P.M.

For car and driver it will be $10.00 and $10.00 for Pit Passes.

2019 Driver Registrations, IMCA license forms, and other forms will be available at the track during then.

Diamond Mountain Speedway releases 2019 Schedule

VERNAL, Utah (Friday, December 7, 2018) - The 2019 schedule for the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah has been released. 5 weekends and 10 races are on tap for 2019 starting in May.

The season opener will be Friday and Saturday, May 10th & 11th and the Third annual Crown Jewel Shootout will be held Friday and Saturday, August 16th & 17th. It will also be the final race of the 2019 season.

All start times will remain the same as last season. Races will start at 8pm on Fridays and 7pm on Saturdays. Below is the complete 2019 schedule.

Dustin Hansen crowned 2018 R&R Propane IMCA Modified Champion

VERNAL, Utah (Friday, November 30, 2018) - Dustin Hansen was crowned the 2018 R&R Propane IMCA Modified Track Champion at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Dustin picked up two wins enroute to his first career IMCA Modified championship and first a Diamond Mountain Speedway. He also picked up 10 top fives and 12 top tens in all 12 starts.

2014 champion, Kelly Smith was second, 4-time champion, Chase Hansen was third, Daniel Cleveland was fourth, and 2011 champion, Wyatt Howard rounded out the top five.

Chase Hansen had the most wins with 3, all with 2 each were Zane DeVilbiss, Dustin Hansen, Wyatt Howard, and Justen Yeager. Scott Gray picked up one feature win this season.

Brent Cook crowned 2018 Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car Champion

VERNAL, Utah (Friday, November 30, 2018) - Brent Cook was crowned the 2018 Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car Track Champion at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Brent was a model of consistency as he picked up one feature win enroute to his first Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car championship. He also finished in the top five 9 times and the top ten all 12 races.

2017 Rookie of the Year and 2018 Most Improved Driver, Dalton Hatten was runner-up, 2013 & 2012 champion, Shane Simper was third, Dan Olson was fourth, and rounding out the top five was 2011 Vet Champion, Allen Hacking

Casey Hofer had the most wins with 4, Shane Simper won 3, Rory Mortensen had 2, and each with one win was Brent Cook, Troy Gardner, and Allen Hacking

Scott Landry earns 2018 Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car Rookie of the Year Title

VERNAL, Utah (Friday, November 30, 2018) - Scott Landry was crowned the 2018 Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car Rookie of the Year at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Out of seven races, Scott had two top five finishes and seven top ten finishes. His best finish this season was fifth, twice.

Landry's seventh place finish both nights in the 2nd annual Crown Jewel Shootout was good enough to win the Rookie of the Year title. He also finished 10th in the final point standings in the Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car division.

Rob Williams was the runner-up in the Rookie of the Year standings.

Justin Wright crowned JBH Contracting IMCA Northern Sport Mod Champion

VERNAL, Utah (Friday, November 30, 2018) - Justin Wright was crowned the 2018 JBH Contracting IMCA Northern Sport Mod Track Champion at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Justin won the championship by picking up 6 wins out of 12 races. he also finished in the top five and ten in all 12 races.

David Pitt was the runner-up in points, Shane Simper finished 3rd, Slade Pitt was 4th, and Jason Wright rounded out the top five.

Justin led the win list in 2018 with 6 wins, brother, Jason Wright picked up three wins. Jerry Hislop, David Pitt, and Shane Simper each had one win.

Grady Martin voted 2018 Driver of the Year

VERNAL, Utah (Thursday, November 29, 2018) - Grady Martin was awarded the 2018 Driver of the Year at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Grady Martin had the most votes during the online voting poll in October. He ended up having 94 votes out of the 455 total votes.

VERNAL, Utah (Thursday, November 29, 2018) - Josh Smith was crowned the 2018 Jet Lift Systems IMCA Southern Sport Mod Track Champion at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

Josh won the Jet Lift Systems IMCA Southern Sport Mod Track Championship by picking up 8 wins, 8 top fives and top tens, in all 8 races he attended.

Chipita Rowley was the runner-up, Jason Reese finished third, 2017 champion, Steve Gray was fourth, and rounding out the top five was Billy Haack.

Josh was on top of the win list in 2018 with 8 wins, Steve Gray won 2 races, Chipita Rowley and Jason Reese both had one feature win.

Dalton Hatten named 2018 Most Improved Driver

VERNAL, Utah (Wednesday, November 28, 2018) - Dalton Hatten was awarded the 2018 Most Improved Driver at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah during the 2018 Awards Banquet at the Western Park on Saturday, November 17th.

2017 Hooked Up Performance Products Dwarf Car Rookie of the Year, Dalton Hatten advanced two positions in the point standings from his rookie season in 2017 to his sophmore year in 2018.

In 2018, he finished runner-up in the standings. To get to that point he earned 8 top fives, 12 top tens, in 12 races. His best finish was a second on Friday, August 17th.
